Nightfall

Bio:
Nightfall appeared sometime after Asura and Zoran were sealed.  Not much is known of his past, but Nightfall is rather cold and stoic toward others and sticks to the shadows since his eyes are sensitive to light.  He and his brother Daybreak were a bit apprehensive upon meeting the Four Elements, though Nightfall got along surprisingly well with them all unlike his brother who was more sociable and open.  Nightfall has no qualms against the Four Elemental Mares being deemed princesses and respects them for it.  He has no delusions to be named 'prince' of anything and this often conflicts with Daybreak's view on the matter.

Relationships:
Daybreak - Much like the Four Elements, Nightfall and Daybreak are not technically related.  However, they adopted each other as brothers and have been inseparable ever since.  They get into arguements frequently, mostly due to Daybreak's constant hautiness.

Hydrox - There was originally no romantic interest between Nightfall and the water element.  However, they coexisted quite peacefully and were almost always around each other.  Each had their own interest in each other and neither would admit it at first.  Their courtship took a long time to actually manifest into something significant.  They have a quiet appreciation for each other and don't openly show off their affections in front of others.

Noctide & Eventide - As a father, Nightfall fails quite miserably.  He was never really prepared to be a father as he had never thought about having foals of his own.  Learning of Hydrox's pregnancy threw him for a loop for some time.  He had a hard time adjusting.  As such, he never got to really know his son Noctide, despite him living under water.  By the time Nightfall came to his senses, Noctide had already deemed him as worthless in his life by referring to him as the Shadow.  Even so, Nightfall never blamed Noctide for his hostility.  He often watches over his son from a distance, vowing that if he ever needed help his father would be there.
Eve was also a surprise.  This time Nightfall was determined to be a part of his foal's life, though still clueless as to how to be a father.  Unfortunately, Noctide refused to all him near her.  Despite Hydrox's warnings and pleas, Noctide swept Eve beneath the sea where Nightfall couldn't reach even with his magic.  As Eve grew older, however, she has been curious recently about her father, which give hope that he'll soon meet her, since she had been obeying Noctide in not coming into contact with him.

Talents & Abilities/Cutie Mark
Nightfall controls the moon, rising and lowering it in corrospondence with Daybreak's control of the sun.  After being unsealed and finding out about Hydrox's pregnancy, Asura deemed him the Moon Prince.

Guess who Nightfall is inspired by...  I mean, somewhat.  Hell, why not?  Maybe he can be a genderbent version?  Eh, whatever floats your boat.
